I wanted to say a special thank you to everyone at The Blue Ball Inn in Exeter for a wonderful act of kindness a couple of weeks ago. I phoned them after I gave birth at the RD&E requesting a post birth meal, their delicious succulent steak sandwich. Honestly, the best decision I could have made. My parents went to pick it up and the pub made the sandwich complimentary with a lovely congratulations message. The thought was very much appreciated. We will be around soon to thank you in person.

Fantastic experience ahead of the rugby on Saturday. Parking was easy and controlled. Food was cooked well and nice. Service was brilliant.  We were so looked after- especially considering the number of guests on the day.

Nothing but praise here! We booked in advance for a motorhome stopover en route to Cornwall.
Very spacious pub car park, with grassed areas, some people may need chocks. Felt safe.
Fabulous food and  attentive, friendly staff.
The only negative (perhaps) for us was the hum of the M5 , which was to be expected.
Oh and the breakfasts are divine, good value. A well recommended stopover!
